Discover the Power of Nutrition explores how evidence-based nutrition supports energy, immunity, mental well-being, and chronic disease prevention across the lifespan. Aligned with the 2026 National Nutrition Month® theme, this course highlights the science behind key nutrients, dietary patterns, and lifestyle behaviors that promote overall wellness. Participants will learn practical strategies to translate nutrition knowledge into sustainable, real-world food choices. Emphasis is placed on cultural relevance, behavior change, and effective nutrition communication. This course is ideal for nutrition, wellness, and health professionals seeking to inspire and empower others through the power of nutrition.

Alcohol consumption has many potential health risks and highly debated and decreasing benefits to health. We know excess alcohol intake is associated with serious risks including liver disease, heart disease, cancer, addiction, and mental health issues. Current research increasingly shows that no amount of alcohol is completely risk-free, making informed and mindful choices essential for long-term health, are important. This class will allow you to say “Cheers” to improving your understanding of the impact alcohol has on your mind and body, clarify a standard serving, and review the recommendations for intake for both men and women.
